The Baudouin 12M26G1100/5 represents a profound leap in continuous power capacity, utilising an uncompromised 31.8-litre displacement layout arranged in a rigid V12 cylinder formation. Sporting a symmetrical 150 mm x 150 mm square bore and stroke profile running on a 15.7:1 compression ratio, the heavy cast-iron engine block implements a robust 48-valve overhead system (4 valves per cylinder) to achieve fast volumetric gas exchange. This heavy-duty structural framework handles a demanding 24.48 Bar BMEP (Brake Mean Effective Pressure) threshold under full standby loads, spreading severe mechanical load stresses across a reinforced SAE 0 flywheel housing.

This multi-banked platform introduces exceptional physical torque stability to absorb steep inductive electrical loads from mining winches, large processing works, and massive regional data arrays. Incorporating dedicated air-to-air intercooling loops across both cylinder banks, the incoming induction flow remains dense and cool, which dramatically lowers internal cylinder temperatures and shields the block from localized thermal fatigue. The clean external layout groups service checkpoints cleanly, streamlining routine field checks for standby site technicians and reducing long-term upkeep overhead.

Extreme 24V Electrical Starting: Employs a rugged 24Vdc negative-to-ground layout equipped with an industrial 10 kW cranking motor and a 55 Amp battery charging alternator for automated grid switching.
High-Volume Lubrication Network: Designed with an expanded wet sump holding up to 109 Litres of oil (114 Litres total system capacity), driving an intense oil circulation path exceeding 350 Litres per minute to protect internal components.
Massive Tropicalised Cooling Package: Features an expanded radiator array holding 71 Litres of coolant, backed by an industrial 30 kW belt-driven pusher fan displacing 1430 cubic meters of air per minute up to 50 degrees Celsius ambient peaks.
SAE 0 Flywheel Framework: Utilises a massive SAE 0 housing paired with a giant 18-inch flywheel layout, providing high rotational inertia to damp heavy frequency drops during breaker connections.
