The Baudouin 6M31G825/5 showcases extreme mechanical refinement, sharing the same 18.5-litre displacement footprint and 149mm x 177mm bore and stroke profile as its series stablemate, but tuned for higher thermal output. The core engine architecture utilises a rigid cast-iron mono-block with an advanced 24-valve overhead cylinder head configuration to maximise volumetric air flow. Operating at an elevated 32 Bar BMEP (Brake Mean Effective Pressure) threshold under full standby loads, the structure is heavily reinforced with high-density main bearing webbing to isolate structural stress during sudden data centre or industrial plant connection sequences.
Industrial Power Architecture & Reliability
This heavy six-cylinder platform provides immense mechanical inertia to bridge severe inductive voltage variances caused by large mining equipment or commercial water treatment pumps. The integrated air-to-air aftercooling circuit drops incoming air temperatures significantly before combustion occurs, maintaining safe internal valve temperatures and completely eliminating the head-warping tendencies associated with smaller, over-boosted engine designs. This straightforward layout drastically reduces outer pipework complexity, giving local field technicians spacious access for routine servicing.

10 kW Cranking Security: Outfitted with a premium 24Vdc starting network containing a 10 kW high-torque starter and an 80 Amp alternator for reliable black-start transfers.
Unassisted Cold Weather Firing: Engineered to secure immediate starting capability without pre-heaters down to minus 10°C, extending to minus 40°C using automated auxiliary cooling circuit heaters.
