The AVS is an Automatic Voltage Switcher rated at 30 Amps. The AVS will switch off the equipment connected to it if the mains power goes outside preset acceptable limits and will re-connect automatically – when the mains power returns to normal.

Re-connection takes place after a delay (‘the start-up delay’) to ensure stability of the mains. In addition, the start-up delay provides protection against power-back surges commonly experienced after resumption of power in a power cut situation. Surge and spike protection is also incorporated to ensure protection against these commonly occurring events.

The AVS is ideal for protection to sensitive equipment such as refrigerators, televisions, personal computers and solar inverters.

No, installation is not included in the price. Any qualified electrician can install the kit and provide a Certificate of Compliance (COC) for the installation as per legislation.

Do LiFeTIDE offer installation?

No, LiFeTide do not offer any installation services, but, any qualified electrician can install the Pre-Configured LiFeTIDE Loadshedding Kit.

Does the price include delivery?

Delivery is not included in any of the prices. However, delivery will be calculated in your cart at checkout based on your location and product selection.

Tell me about the Warranty

Our product warranty  is detailed on each product page and as per our standard terms if registered on our warranty form along with a valid COC and images of the installation. It is a limited warranty. The goods need to be returned to us as per our standard Terms and Conditions of Sale.
